ESET has a strong anti-malware engine, a useful firewall setting, a password manager with form filling, browser protection and good network security tools. Its parental controls and secure browser as well as anti-theft tools are view also good but not exceptional. It does not include a VPN or microphone protection, however it does offer remote screen capture or camera access to view what a criminal has been up to on your mobile or laptop.
The application has an attractive interface that is easy to comprehend and use by novices, but also has details and advanced features for those who need it. The antivirus’s antiphishing tools were overly vigilant and blocked a lot of websites that I trusted but weren’t on PhishTank. In addition when we plugged in an USB storage device into our laptop, the program automatically scans it, which was a bit annoying since many other programs request permission to do so.
